Nominations for Board of Directors (2025-2028)

Please nominate candidates for the five open positions on the VAI Board of Directors for the term of Jul. 1, 2025, through Jun. 30, 2028.


Nominations must be submitted by 5:00 pm eastern time (UTC-5) on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025.


Before nominating a candidate, please obtain their consent and verify that their employer is an Vertical Aircraft (VA) Operator Member. Only a principal owner, an officer, or a full-time employee of a Vertical Aircraft Operator Member in good standing, whose employment is their principal occupation, is eligible to serve as a director.


Seat distribution:

  1. Two open seats in the VA Operator Member, Commercial/Private—Small membership category subclassification
  2. Two open seats in the VA Operator Member, Commercial/Private—Medium-sized membership category subclassification
  3. One open seat in the VA Operator Member, Government Service membership category subclassification.


Membership category subclassifications will be verified by the internal VAI membership team and do not need to be referenced within the nomination form.

SMALL Vertical Aircraft Operator Member, Commercial/Private - Opening #1

A small operator is defined as one to two vertical aviation aircraft. Similar to VAI membership, the number of aircraft applies to the organization that is a member of VAI representing the ownership, lessor, and/or certificate operator of the aircraft.
